Best Practice: Piping and regular sewing in one operation without sewing gauge change - for class 367, 767 and 867

Gauge changes cost time and money. With a special solution, this cost can be avoided. A special welting attachment allows to guide and sew welt, welt jacket, top and bottom material in one operation. Even spacious curves are possible.

The tape width can be set from 20 to 40 mm in no time. With the corrseponding sewing gauges it is possible to process piping diameters of 3 to 8 mm. The piping guide is swivable. So, also normal sewing can be done without changing the sewing feet.

The precise pricking of the welt with top and bottom material is supported in the best possible way. The welt groove is integrated one half each in the presser foot and in the feeding foot. Different materials can be sewn, too.

The solution is applicable for classes 367, 767 and 867 and consists of the following parts:
Piping attachment N093 V91163
Swivel rail N800 V91164
Presser foot 0767 V91112
Transport foot 0767 V91165

Other interesting solutions you will find in the Best Practice section of this blog.
